When I was growing up, I loved all things art. I used to paint, make sculptures, and absolutely loved pottery. Once I graduated college and entered the career world, I found myself so busy with work that I hadn't touched an art project in years. After a stressful family event, I realized that I really needed to find a way to ease my anxiety, and I bought a bunch of new art supplies and started working on a painting. I immediately started feeling so much more relaxed, and I now find time to work art into my daily life to help me stay grounded and relaxed. When everyone else is reading the morning paper I am painting or working on pottery! I think everyone has an artist inside of them, so I decided to start a blog to share my art tips with anyone who needs them.
